ACHOR - The Valley of Troubles which  God can turn into a place of joy  (Hosea 2:15)

A Woman's dream — Hope

A woman lives in fear, behind four walls,
She's not afraid of strangers or people who call.
She lives in fear of the man she loves,
Her only hope is God above.
Her children scream - one more attack.
They run to their rooms - they don't look back.
A black eye again, a bruise here and there,
But the mental scars are the hardest to bear.
She cannot run, she cannot hide, He's always there right by her side.
She dare not sleep, she dare not cry,
He says he's sorry - another lie.
In dreams she walks all on her own,
With happy kids, a peaceful home. To break away - that's what she needs.
But where to go? There's kids to feed.
Can she manage with kids in tow?
One more beating. It's time to go.
She calls the cops - can't take any more.
She's finally safe - behind a locked door.
The refuge is just what it says,
With restful nights and peaceful days.
The man she loved, now she hates.
No more smashed cups or broken plates
They find her a home away from him -
Now her kids can dance and sing.

What is counselling

........Counselling provides a space for you to explore your difficulties and problems with someone who will listen, understand and accept you as
you are. It is often hard to talk to family or friends about our concerns; counselling can create a space in which you feel safe to talk about difficulties from the past, painful experiences in the present or worries about the future.
Sharing your thoughts and feelings in this way can bring new understanding, both of problems, and of yourself.

ACHOR ENOS is a generic service offered to anyone in need, without condition or discrimination of race, faith, class, culture,   gender, marital status, disability, sexual    orientation, or financial means
